The Battle for the Castle Starts Here

This is where friendly rivalry meets raw determination. Rally your riders, build your tactics, and chase glory across the rolling Cotswold hills. Every second counts — and only one team will lift the coveted Broughton Castle Trophy.

Do you have the legs, the focus, and the grit to conquer the toughest sportive in Oxfordshire? Team categories span the 40km, 100km, 160km, and 200km routes — but the competition is fierce.

Team awards

  • Broughton Castle Trophy: 200km overall winning team
  • Rotary Challenge Trophy: 160km champions
  • President’s Trophy: Wellesbourne Wheelers — 2026 winners once again
  • Challenge Trophy: Banbury Star Ladies — 2026 40km winners
  • Team Size: 4–6 riders — your 4th rider’s time seals your result

Winners will be honoured at the exclusive Presentation Evening at Broughton Castle — where the best teams take their place in local cycling history.
